Session Bars

Overview

Session Bars is a simple yet powerful visualization tool that displays the previous and current trading sessions as candles on the right side of your intraday chart. This gives you an instant visual context where the current price is trading relative to the current and previous session open, high, low, and close without moving your eyes from your intraday chart.

The current session candle updates in real-time with each price change, while the previous session remains static for reference. This allows you to instantly see if you're making new highs or lows, testing the session open, or trading within the previous day's range — all critical information for intraday decision-making.

For chart traders accustomed to reading candlesticks, Session Bars requires minimal cognitive effort. The familiar candle format makes it instantly clear where key levels are, reducing the mental overhead of checking multiple timeframes during fast-moving markets.

Technical Details
